We’d like to thank everyone who came to Valentine Bowling Club’s 60th Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 27th September 2023.

Introducing the Club’s newest life member – Mr Colin Taylor

Col was voted in for his services to the club, as well as being a long-serving member of the VBC Board of Directors and Finance Committee.

Club Persons of the Year – Vicki Fletcher and Geoff Armstrong

Vicki is a bowling coach and actively promotes the game of bowls at every opportunity.

Geoff is a member of the Board and is also our resident handyman, helping us out with a lot of general maintenance jobs around the club.

Col Taylor presented our 2022/23 financial results which were an improvement on 2021/22 results and which can be reviewed on our website.

President Rob Gray also thanked our Club Patron Yasmin Catley MP, member for Swansea and Minister for Police and the Hunter for taking time out from her busy schedule to attend the AGM
